Description
(D. A. Russell & Dong, 1994)
A small troodont at a little over a meter in length, Sinornithoides youngi is the ubiquitous generalist-predator of the plains of Ehinjaro, in middle Cretaceous Asia (Headden). A long-limbed, rangy creature, with a narrow, pointed snout and large, forward-facing eyes, S. youngi can hunt the smallest and swiftest of the lizards, birds, and mammals that thrive in this rich environment.
